ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
During a student's two-year Music Major Program, he/she is expected to enroll in the following courses:

| KEYBOARD HARMONY | MUSIC 301, 302, 303 |
| PIANO | Total of 4 semesters of MUSIC 311, 312, 313, 314, 341, 361 |
| CURRENT MUSICAL EVENTS | MUSIC 152 (4 Semesters) |
| PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE | (Each semester of attendance - see below) |
If, however, a new Music Major is not qualified to enroll in the above courses, the student should enroll in the following courses concurrently:

| PIANO I | MUSIC 311 |

PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE REQUIREMENT: The Performance Ensemble Requirement may be satisfied by enrollment in any of the following courses: MUSIC 351, 501, 561, 705, 711, 725, 751, 765, 771, 781. . Instrumental students who do not yet qualify for an instrumental performance organization will be able to fulfill their Performance Ensemble requirement by enrolling in one of the Choirs: (MUSIC 501 or 561).
REPEATABILITIES: Courses Marked With An "*" These courses may be subject to additional repeatabilities under specific conditions. See Department Advisor. Additional Repeatabilities For These Music Courses Permitted For Matriculated Students MUSIC 180, 184, 250, 251, 311-384, 403, 414, 433, 453, 501-575, 604, 614, 624, 634, 664, and 701-785.
AUDITIONS FOR MUSIC ENSEMBLES:Students enrolling in Music Ensemble Classes where the course description indicates a need for an audition will audition as directed by the instructor at the first class meeting. To Meet Prerequisites Students enrolling in music classes with a performance level prerequisite who have not taken the required prerequisite may audition as directed by the class instructor at the first class meeting to confirm a performance level equal to that of the prerequisite.
